From time to time I photograph my model cars or other small vehicles, especially if the day is a bit cloudy, this atmosphere gives me a softer light and less harsh shadows, I reflexed and modeled and started for this new search around the city, now only the right place is missing for the shot but most of the time it does not take long to arrive.
In most cases, both the model and the reflex on the pavement are supported during the shots, hence different problems arise for the reflex, the wet, dirty, dusty pavement, etc., besides the changes to the focusing between the various shots in sequence , the control of the images just captured, the change of the settings in the setting of the machine, can create micro movements during the shots and longer times in post production.
Determined to build a small support to solve the problems, I made the DIY and the toolbox come into play, a small steel plate (5mm thick) purchased in hardware and after a couple of hours of work here is the support ready for use, now I have more stability and above all no direct contact with the floor for the reflex.
